Presentation Summary:
In many industries, minor issues often precede major failures—but they’re frequently overlooked. This presentation introduces a proactive approach to safety improvement by combining AI-powered trend analysis with the Bowtie Risk Assessment Model and advanced techniques for assessing performance. Attendees will learn how to identify patterns in low-level audit findings, near-misses, and incident reports using AI tools, then map those insights on virtual whiteboards to visualize threats and organizational defenses so they can be assessed using advanced techniques. By pinpointing weak administrative, physical, or cyber barriers before a significant event occurs, teams can prioritize and implement proactive corrective actions that strengthen defenses. The session includes a real-world case study and practical tips for applying this method in daily operations. Participants will leave equipped to transform minor problems into major insights—strengthening their organization’s resilience and advancing a culture of continuous improvement.
